Form Messages
The Form Messages feature displays any form errors that caused a form to fail the submission process and all messages you have sent and received from other users.
Additionally, if the review feature is enabled, all review actions performed on the form by the user displays in Form Messages (see Reviewing Forms).
When you send a form messages to another user in 1099-Prep, they receive an email notification about the message.
Users view the message by accessing 1099-Prep, navigating to the form associated with the message, and clicking the MESSAGES actions button to view the message.
If a form failed the submission process, information about the error that caused the failure displays at the bottom of the Messages prompt.
To send a message about the form to another user, click +Add button.
In the Add Message prompt, select the User(s) you want to send the message to, add a Comment, and click SAVE. The select user(s) receive an email notification about the message of the form.
The message displays in the Message prompt. If you sent a form message, the Email icon: displays. Hover over the icon to see the email address that the message notification was sent to.
