Importing

The Import feature allows you to quickly import payer, recipient, and tax form tax data of a customer to the current filing year. It is recommended you use this feature if you need to file large volumes of tax forms. Importing data can quicken in 1099-Prep if there are taxes for entities you file every year.

The import feature allows you to import tax data to a customer's dashboard in the following ways:

• Rollover tax data from the prior year to the current year.

• Import tax data from the current filing year or a select previous year.

• Import new tax data .

Once you import data, update information that has changed for the current tax year (e.g., dollar amounts) and add forms to the cart.
