Deactivating Customers

Deactivating a customer retains the customer account in 1099-Prep, but it will no longer be active. Users will not be able to find and interact with the customer on the Customer Dashboard.

  1. Access User Management.
  2. If necessary, click Customers in the left-side panel.

  3. If necessary, search for the customer account using the Search for customer field.

  4. For the user listed, click Deactivate Customer icon under the Actions column.

To reactivate a user, click the Reactivate Customer icon under the Actions column.
